Following on from lead single 'Ribbon', Kristine Leschper releases a new single, 'Picture Window', from the album The Opening, Or Closing Of A Door, which will land on the 4th of March. The new single opens with gentle percussion and claps. Kristine's angelic voice follows, singing the line 'Big sound in the clearing spin me into something'. A single repeated bass note gives a sense of waiting, layered with a dream-like synth pad. The accompanying music video sees videos of waterfalls pasted onto a bright purple background. With the saturation turned right up, and the softly blurred quality, the waterfall images are reminiscent of the kind you might find in a Chinese takeaway restaurant. The track builds slowly and leisurely drums join half way through. There is a moment where they drop out again, allowing for a majestic flute solo.
